There is such a thrill in being human and getting to experience life and love and human connection. Getting overwhelmed at a sunset. Looking around a table full of your people and just wanting to cry because your heart could burst with loving them so much. Caring about the details and making everything romantic and whimsical just because you can. Being whatever the opposite of nonchalant is. Loving deeply and falling hard. (Can you tell yet I'm a Leo?) And there is no time like a wedding day for all of that to come together more fully and perfectly and beautifully.
My job, my joy, is to document you honestly and intentionally. As you are, fully immersed in every moment and drinking in every second. I’m Payton, and I’ve been photographing love for over 9 years. I’m based in Oklahoma City but always ready to travel anywhere, especially my favorite place on earth, Joshua Tree. I believe life is to be savored, the earth is to be enjoyed, and work/life balance is key, baby. When I’m not taking photos or hitting the road, I’m usually curled up reading, diving into a new hobby (it's air-dry clay at the moment), listening to Mumford & Sons like it's still 2012, or spending time with my people.
