Rachel + Weston were one of the first weddings I ever booked. We met up for Sunday morning coffee, and I instantly knew they were exactly the kind of people I wanted to work with. Artistic, unconventional, and totally completely crazy about each other. I went home and started counting the days until their wedding.
They were married at the gorgeous Barn at the Woods venue in Edmond, Oklahoma, on the most magically perfect September day. Their greatest wish for their wedding was for it to be a relaxed, family-centered day of celebration, filled with unique and personal details. It was all of that and so much more. (I wish you could have seen my face when I first saw Rachel’s dress; pretty sure my jaw hit the floor.)
I’m not even sure I have the words to describe this amazing day. The stars just aligned. Rachel + Weston are two of the most genuine, creative, passionate people I’ve ever met. Everything about their wedding was completely intentional, bringing their family and friends in close to celebrate with them. I’ve never cried so much during a ceremony, as their parents surrounded them in prayer while a friend played and sang “Reckless Love.” Rachel + Weston wanted their ceremony to be just as much a celebration of the Lord as it was a celebration of their love. It was incredible.
I will forever be grateful that Rachel + Weston invited me in to capture their wedding. I will never forget this day.
