When you live in Oklahoma, the weather is always an adventure.
Brittney + Michael dreamed up the perfect session in the mountains, but during a mild week in February, they definitely weren’t planning for the temperature to suddenly drop to 45 degrees and the rain to roll in! Instead of being scared off, they totally embraced it and we went ahead and shot in the mist and cold and fog.
We met up in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in southeast Oklahoma, and lemme tell you, these two absolutely rocked this shoot. They embraced the freezing temps like it was nothing, ran around like they didn’t have a care in the world, and just focused on cuddling up and being adorable. And man, they made Oklahoma look good. They are proof that your engagement session can still be incredible even when the weather is working against you!
I love these two and their passion for each other and I’m so excited for their winter wedding this December. Winter might slowly be becoming my favorite season…
Also, is this landscape giving anyone else some serious Scotland vibes??
