Lexi + Brandon’s Port Angeles elopement was one for the books. On a beautiful day in August, they were married where the mountains meet the sea. Lexi remarked it was only fitting, as she grew up loving mountains and Brandon grew up loving the sea. These two Oklahomans have spent much of their relationship exploring and discovering the outdoors together, so they decided to say their vows in a place that has enchanted them ever since their first visit.
Along with ten of their closest friends and their family, we all journeyed to the beautiful Washington coast where Lexi + Brandon eloped with one of the most intentional celebrations ever. It was truly the most chill, incredible day, and such an amazing reflection of these two adventurous souls. After getting ready in the coolest Airbnb, we drove to the coast. They fashioned a driftwood aisle and Lexi walked down to “Simply the Best” from Schitts Creek (I knew they were good people). After their ceremony, everyone popped champagne, Lexi danced to Beyonce, a friendly surfer photobombed and gave us a full moon lolol, we marveled at the sunset, and we cried and laughed until our cheeks hurt.
I’m forever grateful that Lexi + Brandon trusted me so much as to bring me to Washington to document their elopement day. Watching these two wonderfully kind and wonderfully weird people say their vows by the ocean was an experience I’ll never forget.
