Haley + Rj’s Joshua Tree National Park Adventure Session

Let me tell you the story of how I fell in love…

I went to Joshua Tree National Park. I fell in love with it. The end.

I’ve always been a mountain-lover through and through. But last November, I visited Palm Springs, California for the first time and spent a few days exploring Joshua Tree with my good pal Emily Watkins. And man oh man, did I fall head over heels for the desert. The beauty of Joshua Tree cannot be matched; it’s almost like you’re on another planet. The landscape is rugged, unique, barren yet beautiful. I was in total awe. 

While we were there, we had the opportunity to shoot a session with Haley + RJ, who drove all the way from Arizona! These two are adventurers through and through. They enjoy traveling, rock-climbing, camping, and exploring of all sorts, but really what they love most is simply being together. They had never been to Joshua Tree before, so it was so fun to see them experience it for the first time together, and to capture that enjoyment through these images.

Haley + RJ, I love your adventurous, ambitious souls. And Joshua Tree, you are perfect. I’ll come back soon, promise.
